Frank Olah - First Selectman

Current member of the Woodstock Board of Selectmen and Superintendent of Schools in Hampton. A career in public service as a lifelong educator, Olah is well-versed in budget development and implementation, negotiating employee and union contracts, and human resources management. All education budgets passed on first vote and never had a budget overrun. Former teacher and trustee at Woodstock Academy; taught overseas at Singapore American School; former asst. principal at WES; principal at Voluntown, E. Windsor and Andover, and superintendent at Andover and Hampton. Volunteers at Community Kitchen. Strengths in creating vision statements and managing programs and people. WA Alumni Assn. board of directors; treasurer, Woodstock Cemetary Association.
