Until this last spring, this was a full-time elected position held by Karen Fitzpatrick. The Board of Selectmen decided to create a new position, Director of Finance, which was awarded to her, and reduce the Treasurer position to about 3-5 hours per week. I feel I am well-qualified for this current version of the elected position, having years of experience in this area and the ability to sort through pertinent rules and systems.
