Dr. Smith has more than ten years of experience in higher education, including state universities, private colleges, community colleges, and online adult learning. In addition to teaching, Dr. Smith has worked for both Republicans and Democrats in the Office of the Governor of Illinois (Boards and Commissions) and Executive Office of the President in the White House (Office of Correspondence). Dr. Smith has two children attending Woodstock Elementary School. She currently serves on the Woodstock Recreation Commission.
