Greg Kline - Candidate for Selectman

This program now serves 60-75 veterans each week and was heralded on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Joe Courtney. Also served on the Northeast District Dept. of Health board for 9 years, including 3 terms as chair. Chaired Data General property review committee that oversaw an environmental audit of the entire DG campus and later served on WMS building committee. Chaired the Woodstock Economic Development committee, reinvigorating this body with a special push toward our agri-business community featuring public speakers on resource economics and expanding business. He urged Tufts University Veterinary School to remain in Woodstock to serve our farms and identified and recommended the site on New Sweden Road they ultimately developed. Spent more than 25 years in higher education and corporate communications; military veteran; B.S from Syracuse University. Former American Legion Baseball coach, started Tri-Town Junior ALBB program and served on CT ALBB state committee. Greg’s candidacy has been endorsed by CSEA SEIU Local 2001.
